Mark your calendar for September 28 to October 1, 2012 for the third annual Hotlanta International Salsa Congress and first annual Bachata Congresito in Atlanta, Georgia. The weekend is Atlanta’s premier event mixed with Latin dance workshops, dance performance showcases, and nightly dancing to Latin bands and top DJs. Passes range from a full package for the entire weekend to Friday, Saturday or Sunday party nights only with price ranges to fit everyone budget.
The weekend convention will feature daytime workshops, in a range of levels designed to cater to beginners, casual dancers and professionals. Instruction will be provided by top names in the international salsa community. In addition to the daytime workshops, performance acts will light up the Hotlanta International Salsa Congress stage at night, leading into evenings of nonstop social dancing. Friday features a concert by salsa singing sensation Luisito Rosario backed by Atlanta’s own the Orquesta Macuba band along with the hottest salsa DJs on the circuit.
