Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony launch fashion lines at Kohl’s

Marc Anthony ConcertKohl’s announces their biggest brand launches in company history. Kohl’s exclusive fashion lines with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony keep the famous names living under the same retailer roof in spite of the couple’s divorce in marriage.

A recent news release by Kohl’s touts the Jennifer Lopez brand as “the timeless allure of old Hollywood in a contemporary interpretation of classic, sophisticated glamour.” The collection features apparel from sportswear and dresses to handbags, jewelry, shoes and sleepwear. Prices of the collection range from $22 to $150. In addition, the Jennifer Lopez Home Collection offers bedding and bath products priced from $13.99 to $459.99.  “I have always been interested in fashion and believe great style is about the overall look vs. an individual piece,” said Jennifer Lopez. “My new Kohl’s collection truly reflects my personal style and I’m so excited to provide quality, on-trend fashions at a great value to women everywhere.”

Estranged husband Marc Anthony also simultaneously launches a fashion collection for men at Kohl’s. The brand is supposed to reflect Marc’s musical roots and world travels, providing “raw masculinity tempered with impeccable style.” The Marc Anthony collection includes apparel, sportswear, dress shirts, neckwear, suit separates, sport coats and shoes that range in price from $24 to $240. “I’ve adopted style cues from all over the world and have interpreted them into my lifestyle,” said Marc Anthony.  “The exclusive Marc Antony Collection is in essence a reflection of that part of my life and I’m very excited to bring great quality and design to men nationwide.”

Outside of the retail store, Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Marc Anthony on July 15, bringing an end to their seven-year marriage.  In a recent interview with US Weekly, Anthony said, “This is not a funeral. This is not a burial. This is just two people who came together and just realized. . . I’m saying that it wasn’t sustainable the way it was, and that’s that.”  Anthony failed to mentioned that the couple’s fashion lines would dwell together at Kohl’s despite their failed marriage.
